Dress Sketches
Hello Monday!
Another new week and it’s brought the rain with it! Where did the sunshine go? Yesterday I was sitting in Has’ brother and sister-in-law’s back garden in a vest top and sunnies enjoying the BBQ and potato salad (Seriously Amanda it was delicious!) and watching the (boring) World Cup Final. Now it’s grey and miserable and I’m wearing a jumper!!
As the weeks, and months are flying by I’m thinking about how I want to remember our day and the things that have made it special.
I’m lucky enough to have material swatches from both my dress and the bridesmaid’s dresses. I’ve been thinking about displaying these in a wedding shadow box and one thing, amongst others, that I would love to include is a sketch of my wedding dress.
I found a seller on Etsy, called Gown Sketch who’s drawings are amazing! You simply send a photograph of your dress and she will draw her interpretation of your wedding gown. Beautiful!
